Your first steps

 

Even though your hearing aids are incredibly advanced technology, modern hearing aids are not "plug-and-play" like many other high-tech devices. The first time you put on your new hearing aids, you may notice that things do not seem exactly the way you expected. Adjusting to your hearing aids can take some time, but be assured that Atlanta Mobile Hearing we will be with you every step of the way.

We will work with you during your first hearing aid adjustment to make sure your devices enhance your daily activities. During the acclimation period, it may take some time for your brain to relearn the process of hearing the sounds that a been missing. Think of it as hearing physical therapy, you get out as much as you put in.

We will ask you to take notes of your experience in the form of questionnaires. These will help pinpoint any challenges if any, that you may be having. Documenting your experiences helps us so we can fine-tune your hearing aids accordingly. A key component is the follow-up visit, you can expect our staff will make sure any concerns you have are resolved.

 

The length of acclamation varies, as each individual's hearing is different. Remember to be patient and work with your new devices, and keep in mind we are only a phone call away. Atlanta Mobile Hearing is here to make your transition as smooth as possible.
